What is a Freelance Tee?

Photo by Charles Robertson I think we’re all comfortable enough to admit that sometimes logos are confusing. You can plaster one on your jacket, hat, truck and rims, but unless people know what you do, it doesn’t mean a whole lot. Why not just state it in simple terms? There’s still a time and place for the ol’ logo, but if you are in the initial stages of simply recruiting clientele and getting the word out about what you do, why not take a direct route?

If you teach guitar lessons, offer tutoring services, design websites, plan weddings, knit custom sweaters or fix cars, put it on a shirt and see what happens.  As you’re getting coffee, buying groceries, grabbing dinner, catching a movie, walking your dog, you could be advertising your skills and creativity to the community.

It isn’t that hard to imagine. Conversations have been built on much less. So, while you may not be the only qualified writer, personal trainer, or landscaper in your town, there’s something unique about how you do what you do. Figure out what that is and share it with the people around you. Now, if you’re ready to pick one out or create an original, head on back to our store!

Jody - Hi! I don’t know if you’ll remember me, but I sure remember you - as a beautiful, high spirited child, who was the first person to discover Chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream! I see your mom every so often in the neighborhood, and I always ask about you and Brady, so when I ran into her at the grocery store yesterday and asked about you she shared your website with me and said I should send you a message. This is such an incredible concept Jody, I think you have something amazing and I know you will be very successful! It’s so exciting to watch something grow, so I’ll be watching Blackbird Tees. I wish you all things wonderful - good luck! Love, Margie
