Welcome to the Find Your Blackbird blog! This is the heart of our little ol’ business, and a place for you to both find and potentially offer inspiration. To read more details about the different themes within the Blackbird blog, visit Put Yourself Out There. There you will find a basic primer to help you navigate this portion of the site.

Essentially, Blackbird Tees is the retail end of an effort to build a community. Our intended audience is what we refer to as the Lost Demographic. The goal is to provide a forum for people that want a more fulfilling life and career, but aren’t sure where to start. Blackbird Tees allows for individuals to customize t-shirts that showcase the unique combination of skills and interests they have to offer the world. We like to think of it as creative self-promotion. If someone is looking for a new job or career, he or she can create a Resume Tee by choosing a slogan for the front of the shirt, and then uploading his or her personal resume to be printed on the back. Freelance Tees also offer slogans and customization options for those individuals that are already doing something they enjoy and just want a creative way to advertise it.

The Find Your Blackbird blog provides a wider context for exploring the philosophy behind Blackbird Tees. It is a place to find the inspiration and courage to put yourself out there.

i love the 2 tees i just bought - so classic! as an art museum professional finding the “art nouveau style” on a t-shirt is really unique, usually it is just reproduced on postcards or posters or something. but to be able to wear this out will be inspiring - i am certain of it.

i hope you continue to come up with new designs like the classic blackbird tee!

Hello…I found your website last month and made a neat connection: got several t-shirts for the Granby High (Norfolk, Va) class of ‘67! After all, friends for 40+ years can be original, irreverent & creative. Rock on…

I love it! Now only to decide which tee i want first! don’t make it harder by adding more nouveau illustrations! The techie tee is a perfect one for your favorite IT manager, too. Trust your blackbird, techie, or custom slogan…hmm. I’ll be back!

Thanks Blackbird :) I will be visiting often :)

    hey guys!!
Just had a client email me your URL because she thought I’d love your concept. She was right, of course!! Would you consider doing a custom design? I have a particular phrase in mind that I use a lot to promote my business and I think it would fit beautifully with what you are doing. If not, no worries, I’m still gonna send you a lot of business, since I work with job seekers and they’ll LOVE this to! I would have sent you a private email, however, could not find a contact page.
    :)
